Job Title: BMW Technician
Job Description:
Our client is a leading BMW dealership in metropolitan Sydney. Due to increased sales and a strong reputation for superior service, they are seeking to appoint an experienced technician to complement their BMW service department.
If you are successful in applying for this role, you will be working with a stable, experienced team, supported by strong and reliable management.
This position is a full time role reporting to the BMW Service Manager. To be considered for this position you must have superior communication skills, reliable time management and organisational skills. You must also hold a full current, unrestricted NSW driving licence and have a passion for delivering a consistently high level of quality in your work.
As a BMW Service Technician some of your responsibilities will include:
- Examining vehicles to identify problems
- Utilise the appropriate BMW automotive technology and diagnostic equipment
- Perform instructions/requirements according to workshop Repair Orders
- Maintain good communication with Workshop Controller and Service Advisors
Essential experience/qualifications/skills:
- Excellent practical automotive repair and service skills
- The ability to work effectively to a time schedule with strong attention to detail
- Good PC/Computer Skills
- Franchise dealership workshop experience (not necessarily BMW)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Prestige vehicle experience preferred but not essential
- The ability to write technical reports will be highly regarded
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence
- Stable, long term employment history (within reason)

- Methodical
- Teamwork
Although these criteria have been nominated as non-essential, it is expected that the successful candidate will work to improving these skills on the job, supported by dealership systems, procedures and training courses.
